St. Francis of Assisi, Isleworth
Church of England Parish Church

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much
Seek to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
If you would like us to pray for you or for someone else, please email us using the link below, stating who or what you would like us to pray for. Harvest – give thanks for the bread of life.
Wholemeal, multigrain, rye, white sliced …..so many different shapes, sizes and ingredients and so much choice! But without the sun and the rain to make the grain grow and the farmers and bakers who make the loaves we love, we’d be really stuck – and very hungry.
Jesus called himself the Bread of Life for a good reason. Without him we will always be spiritually hungry. Put simply, we would die without his sustenance.
Next time you tuck into your morning toast or lunchtime sandwich, think about that hunger gap in your spiritual life and what you’re doing to try and fill it.
Come and join us this harvest to discover the Bread that will keep you well and truly satisfied. Our Harvest Thanksgiving service is on Sunday 14th October at 11.00 a.m.
